Allow for real life
Check wardrobe doors, windows, bedside storage and the route you take through the room. A floor plan should work after the bed is dressed and occupied.
Write the numbers down
Keep the measurements with you when shopping and compare them with the exact product dimensions rather than relying on labels alone.
